8 Lane Race (Reverse Race)

What an event we had! The Slingshot By Tobias nite saw 19 racers show up on a snowy nite. It was history in the making as we ran the first 8 lane race for our sprint car class. The winner was Mike Feltenberger. His last win came back in 1983 when we still raced Magna Traction cars! Always great to see a seasoned veteran get another win.

Hall of Fame Night (day before Thanksgiving)

We had 28 racers come back for our annual Hall of Fame Nite. We inducted 2 new members: Mike & Kenny Fenton from Mt. Holly Springs, PA. They have been a part of our H.O. group since back in the 80's. A great nite with over 10 returning veterans. Some won segments. It did not take long for the rust to shake off of some of them. Our top 4 racers were seperated by less than 1 lap! Very close racing.

Lilac Construction Night

We had our 4th sprint race of the year on Lilac Constuction Nite. His sponsorship was unique in that he gave a $5.00 dollar to each racer that was in the race segment that had the least amount of falloffs on the evening. The one race was run with only 5 fall offs recorded in that event. The highest total was 16 falloffs.

What a turn out on an ugly nite. Rained all day & was pouring when every one got here. But they all dried out & went racing. 20 racers were in the house. Troy Wink along with some of his pit crew tried their hands at our racing. None of them had ever done it before. We had great prizes handed out by Troy. We had Winross trucks, hats, t-shirts, Catapillar trucks, calendars etc. We also had our Perfect Segment Bonus: the racers ran a segment in which no one fell off so each got $6 from Jimmy Lilac Construction.
